You don’t have to swing a hammer to be part of the Forge. Our Café & Showroom is open to the public seven days a week. No bookings, no blacksmithing skills, just damn good food served in a one of a kind setting, just drop in for great food and good vibes.

We serve proper, home style food made with the best local ingredients, working with nearby farms, bakers, and butchers who take pride in what they do. At Oldfield Forge, our ethos is simple: support local, cook with care, and serve food that hits the spot.

You will find us at: Oldfield Forge Ltd, Garway Hill, Hereford, HR2 8HA. Pop our postcode into your sat nav, it will take you straight to the forge entrance. Turn immediately left and follow the signs for parking.

Our cafe is open everyday from 9am to 4pm. Hot food is served 7 days a week from 9am – 3pm.

Yes! We have free on-site parking. Just follow the signs after turning left at the forge entrance.

Absolutely. Just log on to the guest BT network, no complicated logins, we promise.

We do! Although it may be limited, our menu includes something for everyone, all made with locally sourced ingredients to support local businesses. Please ring ahead to let us know or simply mention your preference when ordering.

Yes! For all takeaway orders, please call 01981 580016 or 07716 152354. We’ll have your order freshly prepared and ready for you to collect.

Yes! Our new café/showroom is available for events or meetings. Beautifully furnished to bring the fresh air in, it is perfect for team-building, corporate events, or anyone who’d like a private meeting space with a touch of charm.

Absolutely. We would love to host your special occasion. Get in touch and we will help tailor the space and menu to your needs.

We accept card payments (including Amex) and cash. Please note there’s a minimum spend of £5.00 for card transactions.

We do not allow dogs on site. As friendly as our own forge dog, Khaleesi, may be, she prefers not to share her home, or the spotlight!

Absolutely! We’re able to provide smaller portions for children, plus an on-site games room with table football, air hockey, and darts. It’s a family-friendly evening for all ages.
