Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in to make your very own belt and buckle!

Start by forging your belt buckle with the guidance of our expert blacksmiths. Then head to our leather workshop to cut, stitch, and assemble a belt that perfectly matches your buckle. With support from our skilled team, you’ll master every step and create something entirely from start to finish. By the end, you’ll walk away with a belt and buckle that’s all yours, and an unforgettable rush of achievement.

 

The ideal first course for everyone. Perfect for individuals, families, and groups of all sizes. We welcome participants aged 7+, making it a great activity for children and adults alike.

Our online booking system is easy to use and allows you to choose a time and date that suits you. Once confirmed, you will receive an email with all the details you need, as well as an important form to complete.

The Forge is open all year round, seven days a week. Our online booking system will show you the availability in real time. Please be aware that weekends should be booked well in advance!

Our experience day packages are physically demanding and have the potential for minor injury. Therefore, please seek advice from your doctor or our booking team if you’re unsure.

Be sure to dress accordingly, remembering that in the colder months it can get pretty chilly inside the workshop, despite the fires! Please wear long trousers and suitable footwear.

Kick off your adventure! You’ll be signed in and introduced to your blacksmith, who will guide you through the experience. Choose your buckle design, discuss your goals for the day, and get fitted with protective gear before a quick safety briefing.

2. Firing Up the Forge

The forge is already blazing and ready for action! Learn how to control the fire and heat the metal to the perfect forging temperature. Feel the energy as you get ready to shape steel into something extraordinary.

3. Making Your Buckle

Now the fun begins! Grab your tools and start hammering, shaping, and crafting your buckle. Experiment with techniques, add personal touches, and watch raw steel transform into a piece that’s uniquely yours.

4. Crafting Your Belt

Step into the leather workshop and bring your belt to life. Cut, stitch, and assemble leather that perfectly complements your buckle, guided every step of the way by our expert team.

5. Finishing Touches

Add the final details and polish to your buckle and belt. Make sure every element reflects your style and craftsmanship—this is your signature piece.

6. Photo Time

Celebrate your creation! Strike a pose on our wooden stage and capture the moment. You’ll leave not just with a belt and buckle, but with an unforgettable memory and a story to tell.
