Forge Your Own Folding Pocket Knife – A Hands-On Challenge

This is the perfect experience for those who want to challenge themselves by crafting their very own hand-forged Pocket Knife—a unique piece to either use with care or proudly display. With expert guidance, you’ll put your creativity into action, shaping and assembling a UK-legal folding pocket knife from start to finish.

Please note: This is one of our most complex packages, requiring patience and precision. If you’re unsure about taking on the challenge but would love to be part of the experience, you’re welcome to accompany a friend or family member. Relax in our woodland area or enjoy the showroom’s viewing space while they craft their masterpiece.

What to Expect:

This is a highly hands-on experience, where you’ll:
-Forge, harden, and temper your knife
-Sharpen and refine it to perfection
-Learn traditional techniques in a fun, friendly, and engaging environment

Expect to break a sweat—but by the end of the session, you’ll take home a handcrafted Pocket Knife and a story worth sharing!

Our online booking system is easy to use and allows you to choose a time and date that suits you. Once confirmed, you will receive an email with all the details you need, as well as an important form to complete.

The Forge is open all year round, seven days a week. Our online booking system will show you the availability in real time. Please be aware that weekends should be booked well in advance!

Our experience day packages are physically demanding and have the potential for minor injury. Therefore, please seek advice from your doctor or our booking team if you’re unsure.

Be sure to dress accordingly, remembering that in the colder months it can get pretty chilly inside the workshop, despite the fires! Please wear long trousers and suitable footwear.
